Date night food adventure at Sydney’s hottest foodie market right now – Hay St Market at Paddy’s Started the night with a refreshment – the new @Schweppes Ginger Beer. Heard it pairs well with Asian flavours and spicy food🌶️ so we had to test it out ourselves. Here’s what we picked up from the market: • Singapore Chilli Prawn Dumplings (they were out of crab) • Laksa Dumplings – Helmi’s favourite • Smash Burger🍔 • Korean Sweet & Spicy Crispy Chicken + Tteokbokki from a Korean Pocha-style stall • Chicken Souvlaki with spiced yoghurt Tasted it all, and here’s the verdict: • The Laksa dumplings had a creamy broth with just the right spicy kick🌶️ • The Singapore Chilli Prawn dumpling was juicy and full of flavour😋 • Schweppes Ginger Beer paired surprisingly well with the lingering spice – subtle ginger flavour, not overpowering, super refreshing🥰 • Smash Burger was soft and packed with flavour thanks to the sauce • Korean chicken and tteokbokki weren’t too spicy, but still flavourful and paired nicely with the ginger beer • The Chicken Souvlaki had a nice smoky char, and the yoghurt brought it all together That wrapped up our night but ig you haven’t tried Schweppes Ginger Beer, definitely give it a go – perfect for spicy and street food lovers😉 [A D] #schweppes #gingerbeer #sydneyfoodie #foodmarket #chinatownsydney #sydneyeats #sydneyfood #datenights #sydneyguide #refreshingdrink hay st paddys market sydney
