Love it or hate it, it became such a hit and trend can’t believe it🧁🤍 Ingredients: - 1 Large Madeira Cake - 300ml Evaporated Milk - 150-200ml Condensed Milk - 200-300ml Milk (taste to your preference) - 1 bay leaf - 1 cinnamon stick - 3 cardamom seeds - 600ml Double Cream - 40g Icing Sugar - 1tsp Vanilla - Pistachios / Almonds - Rose petals for decoration Recipe: - Cut out thick slices of Madeira and lay across a tray / pots - On low - medium heat, combine the milk mixes and the aromatics, do this for 15 minutes ( or allow to bubble through) - Keep stirring as the condensed milk will sink at the bottom and may burn - Using a whisk, whip the double cream until thick, do not rush this process as it can split very fast once it has whipped - Allow the milk mix to cool down - Once warm pour on one soak of the milk mix - Keep soaking every 10-30 mins. Do not overcook it! - In the meantime prep your sauce base - Cut it open to check if it’s just about done and remove off the pan - Add butter to the pan, add your garlic onion and seasonings, sauté 5 mins - Add half your mushrooms and sauté for 7mins until softened (but not fully) - Add flour and mix it all, it will thick and dry. Cook the flour for a couple mins - Slowly add your milk. And keep mixing. Then whisk in your eggs and sugar - Add your mashed banana and whisk altogether - Fold in your salt and flour until fully combined and fluffy - Chop up your chocolate into chunks and add most of it into the batter.
