this made me stupid giddy. 3 babies later - I’m still rediscovering this new body of mine.. one that no longer looks like an IFBB pro, which truly was an identity of mine for so long. I am proud of my body, while still finding my new self in it. Some days harder than others. I woke up today feeling good, new @paragonfitwear outfit, and day 1 of my RENEW challenge. I have 7 weeks until I turn 30, and this challenge is taking me there - lots of life change and I looked at myself posing like “ok, this really is a new me.” This man came up to me, who I actually thought was judging me the whole time I was there (LOL) — and made my whole day. Some people would pull the “of course a man would say something” or “that’s creepy”, but to me it was a reminder that kindness still exists in all ages, all genders, all places. This was a compliment I needed from a man that’s seen a hell of a lot more life than me. People see your hard work, even if it feels like no one does. Keep showing up. 💗 I know future old me will 100% make it a point to encourage anyone on their journey in their younger years too.
