The vbac I had been dreaming, hoping, and praying for these last nine months—and God delivered. It was redemptive. It was healing. It was everything I needed and more. I walked into this birth with so many unknowns, but I chose to trust the Lord and the body He gave me. From beginning to end, I felt a peace only He could provide. This experience changed the way I see birth, it’s no longer something that brings up sadness or negative emotions, but something that reminds me just how much He cares about us and our wants and needs. Beyond grateful God chose and trusted me to be these boys mom.. truly the greatest gift🤍 @drewpow

Happy Father's Day to the love of my life and the best dad our babies could ever ask for. My heart melts every day watching you with Baker. The way you make him laugh until he sounds like he's crying, the way he runs to give you the biggest hug the second you walk in the door, how intentional you are when playing with him every night before bed.. even if you're exhausted. I could sit back and watch you two forever. It's in those moments that I know I picked the right person to build a family with. I knew the second I met you, and saw just how selfless you were, that you'd be an amazing dad. So sorry I’ve been MIA these last couple of weeks! We’ve been adjusting to life as a family of four and soaking in all the sweet newborn moments🥹 This video is actually from two weeks ago when we took Briston to his first pediatrician appointment!
