Brown butter Dubai chocolate chip cookies are a 50/10 😫🍪🍫 Here’s the recipe: • 1 Stick butter (melted & browned) • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed) • ½ cup granulated sugar • 1 large egg • 1 tsp vanilla paste • 1⅓ cup all-purpose flour • ½ tsp baking soda • Pinch of salt • 1 cup chopped semisweet chocolate (or any chocolate of choice) • Flaky sea salt (for garnish) • Pistachio cream • Knefeffa (cooked in butter until golden brown) Melt ½ cup unsalted butter over medium heat until golden brown, then let it cool slightly. Whisk in ¾ cup brown sugar & ½ cup granulated sugar until combined. Add 1 egg & 1 tsp vanilla bean paste, mix until smooth. Sift in 1⅓ cup all-purpose flour, ½ tsp baking soda, & a pinch of salt. Fold in 1 cup semi sweet chocolate. Separately, cook knefeffa in butter until golden brown & mix with pistachio cream. Scoop dough, add a spoonful of the pistachio-knefeffa mix in the center, then seal. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
