Let me tell you all about it… It’s waterproof It’s fire proof Can be grouted if you want Simple to install It’s strong… which means it’s not #renterfriendly unless you put a barrier down first! The best thing is that this brand (colamo) has so many colors and actually trendy designs. I had a hard time choosing and ultimately chose black because I have a vision for this kitchen. I will also be testing these in the girls bathroom because I am very curious how they will do in that type of situation! Did I find an affordable fabric #peelandstickwallpaper YES!! Here is everything you need to know about it… - It’s actually very easy to install because of how forgiving this material is. It’s easier to work with than vinyl in my opinion. This is a beginner friendly #DIY - I believe this to be #renterfriendly based off my initial rip tests BUT I can’t say for sure until it’s up for a while and I remove it. It is promising though! - This is a #budgetfriendly #wallpaper because you can buy a 98”x148” mural style for $189. I only bought 2 panels so it was $84. That is soo cheap for how good this stuff is. - They do have other designs and colors but not a lot because this brand Zeeko has only been around for 6 months from what I can tell. I have compiled a list of all the designs it looks like they offer they have been added to the Amazon wallpaper section on my website! Today didn't quite go as planned in my #budgetfriendly #kitchenmakeover. I knew removing these would take some paint off the wall, but I didn't expect the fix to be this extensive! That's just part of #DIY #homeprojects, right? Tonight, I'll finish sanding and seal the wall with primer/paint. Skipping the traditional backsplash install is why I'm putting in the extra effort. I promise this will make sense once you see what I am doing with this backsplash!

My #kitchen is literally the only room in this house I put a lot of money into over the last 3 years. I had basically not touched it or done anything new in this space until that cabinet broke… seeing the dark wood tones added into the space made me want to add more richness in here so that is what we are doing!! I decided to go with a safe choice for the #kitchen island refresh and use #peelandstickwallpaper again. Why!? I have a hard time committing to permanent changes until I am sure it is something I want. If your new here am playing with the idea of bringing more wood tones into my kitchen. I was able to do that with $30 and a few hours of my time. Also, this is definitely a #renterfriendly #DIY and outside of it being #homedecor the wallpaper actually keeps my paint clean from the scuffing that happens from sitting at the barstools! This stuff is super easy to wipe clean!

It has been 2 YEARS since I installed #peelandsticktile in my #shower and it’s doing good!! I get asked about updates on this project the most… probably because it was a little bit sketchy. 98% of it is still in perfect condition but I do have an iffy spot due to a poor install on my end. I can replace those panels if I want but don’t be mad… I am thinking about taking this down and testing a new product in here! Do we think I should do that!? Also, the #peelandstickwallpaper has held up in this bathroom and is doing soo good! This is part of my collection with Wall Blush This was a successful #renterfriendly #budgetfriendly #DIY but it’s incredibly important you purchase the exact tiles I used because they are rated for showers (according to the brand Art3d) but not all of the ones they make are. One week later… Welcome back to the #DIY window trim project! I messed up one of my cuts and didn’t have enough wood to finish it but when I went to the store they didn’t have anymore more of the trim I used!! I am actually incredibly glad they didn’t have it because this new set up was so much easier to do. It’s literally 3 steps: 1. Nail the corner pieces on 2. Make 4 straight cuts 3. Nail the trim on I am confident you could do this style of window trim if you wanted to. I will have to fill the nail holes and paint but I am actually pretty proud I got this done! Another day… another cleaning product to see if I can get the stains out of this shower. If your new here this has been an on going saga for 3 years! I welcome anyone in the comments who has a suggestion of a product for me to try… Things we have tried: Pink Stuff Barskeeper Toilet Bowel Cleaner Bleach Homemade concoctions people have suggested Comet and probably missing a few more It’s been a good try but I think we need to accept that it is just going to be like this until I can replace it. #shower #cleaning #cleaningtips #homeideas

This is kinda a big deal… I bought a saw! I am convinced dremel developed this for me even though they don’t know me. It’s literally the only saw I have ever wanted to buy. This was so incredibly easy to use! I know my people here could buy this and start doing more complex #DIY #homeimprovement with out any prior skills. You can also use this in an apartment which is so important to me personally since I do a lot of #renterfriendly #homedecor I mentioned it was #budgetfriendly because this entire kit is $149 which I think is an incredibly fair price!

Guess what!? My brain decided to show up today and I finished the pantry #peelandstickwallpaper project! One thing you will find consistently in all my #homedecor projects is ✨personality✨ thanks to wallpaper! I love the fact that I brought personality to my awkward corner pantry in this space. This is the same wallpaper I used in the dining room. I do no major house #cleaning on the weekends because a few months ago I made Friday my “reset” day.
