Using a drill guide to ensure I get perfectly straight holes and insert these threaded inserts straight for the legs on this table. The guide is extremely easy to use and allows me to get drill press quality straight holes in the middle of this large table top. As an added bonus, I also used the same guide to ensure the threaded inserts went in straight as well. This setup made this task quick and easy while maintaining the accuracy I needed! What do you think of how this project turned out? Making a cabinet with the precision of a CNC and the Festool Domino connection system, this flat pack melamine cabinet went together quickly and easily! Cutting everything on the CNC allowed me to design and cut out the mounting holes for all of the cabinet hardware speeding up the assembly process a ton! Edge banding, trimming flush and easing over the sharp edges on this melamine door. While you would normally be working on multiple doors and cabinet parts at a single time, I wanted to show you the entire process of trimming out a door from start to finish. The beauty of the tools used here is how easy they are to use and the way they make the process repeatable, getting perfect results every time. While these tools perform great, where they really shine, is when you need to edge band curves. Sanding a walnut slab on the CNC using the new Amana Tool In-Sand 4" CNC Orbital sanding attachment! It's important to make sure that the slab is surfaced flat before using the sander on the wood. The sander is dynamically balanced to limit vibration. It is spring loaded to keep the correct sanding pressure on the pad extending the life of the sandpaper. This tool is a game changer for processing large slabs on a CNC machine and removes a lot of the sanding work needed after surfacing slabs. Well, this is something you don't see every day! Edge banding and trimming an inside radius using the Festool Conturo and MFK 700 router with ease! The edge bander can go down to a 1-15/16" (50mm) inside radius and can go as tight as 1" (25mm) for outside radiuses. Is this the fastest and most accurate way to cutout windows? I certainly think so, plus, it's extremely easy to do! Using the Amana Tool 47104 1/2" diameter flush trim bit, available from @toolstoday, to cut out the siding for windows on the chicken coop. This compact router table is one that will work in any shop environment! I love that the router mount is able to be taken out of the table and becomes a larger, more stable base for your router. This also means that you could put a StabilMax base on another router and swap routers, with different bits in them, into the table without any additional setup work!
