My top 5 tips for creating a healthy lifestyle and achieving a toned look: 1. Heal your relationship with food For so long, I viewed food as either “good” or “bad.” But the truth is, there’s no such thing. You can enjoy the foods you love and still reach your goals. A balanced diet with a calorie deficit helps lose fat while maintaining muscle. Aim for 80% whole foods and 20% soul foods — the ones that make you happy! 2. 8k–10k steps a day Walking is underrated. Finish your workout with a 30-minute walk or head outside whenever you have a little free time during the day — it adds up! 3. Prioritise sleep Good sleep = better performance, more energy, and the motivation to move your body. Don’t skip it. 4. Move in a way that feels good Falling in love with your daily movement is a game-changer. If you dread your workouts, try something different. Tailor your sessions to your fitness level — it shouldn’t feel like a chore. If you’re unsure where to start, I highly recommend my app Glow with Sarah for at-home workouts with little to no equipment. From bodyweight to dumbbells, we’ve got you covered. 5. Be patient Results don’t happen overnight. It took me months to see changes — and that’s okay. Take your time, be intentional with your sessions, and enjoy the journey. You’ve got this 💪🏽 @Glow with Sarah
If you saw her in person, you wouldn’t think she had ASD. Over time, I’ve learned to recognise the signs I noticed in Zamira. Being upside down like this is one of her favourite things to do! Her therapist mentioned it could just be a way for her to self-stimulate, maybe it’s the head rush or the way she watches her programs upside down that gives her that sensory input she enjoys 😂🥹
